Below outlines the day to day responsibilities:Role & Responsibilities:Working as part of teamComplete PPM and reactive breakdown maintenance on manufacturing/ industrial/ FMCG machinery to maximize equipment performanceDiagnosing and resolving electrical faults across single- and three-phase systemsConduct electrical fault-finding with quick response and rectification.Perform activities on 3-phase and single-phase power.Perform activities on motors, pumps, metal detectors, flow wrappers, ultrasonic cutters and packaging equipment etc.Source and replace spare parts as neededSupport continuous improvement projects on existing and new machineryEnsure all work complies with safety and quality standardsOther duties as requiredKnowledge, Skills & Experience:Time-served or formally qualified in engineering - experience favoured17th/18th Edition and experience in FMCG/industrial settingsElectrical bias with mechanical capability; welding experience desirableKnowledgeable of both electrical and mechanical duties, with a bias to electricalPLC fault finding experience is beneficialHands on and enjoys getting stuck inAbility to read and interpret technical drawings (mechanical and electrical)Familiarity with pneumatics and PLCs is a plusKnowledge of CAD systems is a plusStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitudeExcellent communication and teamwork skillsPackage and Benefits:42,000-44,000/ 23 days + BH, free parking, employer pension, training opportunities and progression!If you are interested in this position please click 'apply'.Hunter Selection Limited is a recruitment consultancy with offices UK wide, specialising in permanent & contract roles within Engineering & Manufacturing, IT & Digital, Science & Technology and Service & Sales sectors.Please note as we receive a high level of applications we can only respond to applicants whose skills & qualifications are suitable for this position.
