We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Senior Estates Surveyor on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. In this exciting role you'll manage and optimise a diverse property portfolio, provide expert advice, and handle a wide range of estate management responsibilities. As a Senior Estates Surveyor, you'll cover a wide remit of leasehold acquisitions and/or disposals as well as lease advisory and rent/service charge/insurance & rates management for our Depots and Delivery Units (DUs) throughout the UK.Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.This is a great time to be joining us! Take a look at the below to understand what you'll be doing in your role as a Senior Estates Surveyor at Evri!Sourcing opportunities and delivering solutions for new Depots and DUs including new properties, replacements, swaps and regears as applicable.Agreeing heads of terms, ensuring compliance and managing the delivery process with external consultants including agents, solicitors, building surveyors, planning consultants etc.Providing options, preparing budgets and inputting to business cases for approval, maximising savings as appropriate.Ensuring records are properly maintained including budgets, Board reports, memos seeking approval/sign-off of final engrossments, property master schedule, acquisitions tracker etc.Management of rent, service charge & insurance payments, managing applications for consents, managing the service of legal notices and complaints etc. and providing the business with advice on lease compliance for your portfolio.Management of leases, applications for consent, break options, variations (varying leases to suit the business) where appropriate, lease renewals, rent reviews, dilapidations, etc. within budget and in a timely manner as appropriate.Liaison with external advisors and making appropriate recommendations for approval as well as liaison with internal Accounts.Managing external consultants through the appeals process, ensuring accurate bills are obtained and implementing mitigation where required.Management of complaints including from Landlords and/or estates related complaints from third parties and ensuring the business is fully advised on any implications.Still interested? Great news!We are looking for:MRICS Qualified and up to 5-10 years or more Post Qualified Experience.UK Driving licence.Significant experience of acquisitions, property management, lease advisory, planning and rates etc.Significant warehouse/logistics experience and market contacts and knowledge.Experience with lease advisory including contractual rent reviews, statutory lease renewals, dilapidations etc in a logistics environment.Ability to agree heads of terms and guide solicitors as well as the business through the legal processNegotiation experience and a high degree of commercial acumen with detailed knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation.At Evri, we know we only grow if our people do too.
