Long Stratton Leisure Centre boasts an 80-station state of the art gym and a 10-station E-GYM, with a studio, caf, soft play, multi-functional sports hall and a 9-a-side 3G pitch.For a complete understanding of this opportunity, and what will be required to be a successful applicant, read on.We are looking to welcome a personable individual with a love for fitness and wellbeing to join our hard-working and passionate team, in a role where you will deliver a high standard of service to our members.This role is highly customer-focused and extremely rewarding as you will play a key part in assisting members with achieving their goals, creating gym plans tailored to these. You will also have the opportunity to instruct classes, creating a fun and motivating environment for our members.Specific responsibilities will include:Supervising the gym areaUndertaking gym inductions and gym programmesDelivering E-GYM inductionsSetting up activities within the centre such as badminton, football, fitness classes etc.Instructing classes (wherever necessary and qualification dependent)Assisting with centre tours and membership salesAssisting the Front of House team at reception and on CafEnsuring the centre is well run, clean and ready for business.About YouYou will have a L2 gym instructor qualification, together with excellent customer service and communication skills. With a genuine interest in Fitness and Leisure, you will be able to motivate and encourage people through fitness. You will also need to be able to instruct circuits and other classes (where required and qualification dependent).
