As Assistant Head Chef, youll play a crucial role in maintaining their exceptional standards, working alongside their Executive Chef to bring passion, organisation, and leadership to their kitchens.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design innovative menus and food offersEnsure high product knowledge and excellence in food taste, presentation, and techniqueDevelop event budgets in partnership with the CEO and manage kitchen costs efficientlyConduct client tastings and translate their vision into standout menu experiencesPrepare weekly rotas, manage staffing levels, and enforce company policiesMonitor kitchen budgets and food GP targets without compromising on qualityManage supplier relationships, place and receive orders, and control stock levelsLead monthly stock-takes and maintain accurate inventory recordsUphold our 5 hygiene rating and ensure all back-of-house operations are safe and compliantProvide operational support across all venues as neededHandle all food stock deliveries and associated administrative documentationEnsure storage areas are secure, clean, and well-organisedCommunicate kitchen activity clearly across the wider teamBuild effective partnerships with internal stakeholdersRepresent and maintain the professional reputation of the businessStay current with new food trends and identify new product/service opportunitiesBe a role model, demonstrating professionalism and respect in every interactionWhat Theyre Looking For:A confident, creative, and experienced chef with a strong understanding of food cost managementExcellent communication and organisational skillsProven ability to lead, motivate, and support a kitchen teamStrong understanding of food safety and hygiene standardsExperience in high-volume catering, preferably within events or outside cateringPassion for food and a commitment to exceeding client expectationsFull driving licenceWhat They Offer:A permanent position in a growing and respected catering companyAnnual salary of 34,000 - 36,000Opportunities for personal and professional growthThe chance to work on exciting, high-profile eventsA supportive and passionate team environmentIf youre ready to take your culinary leadership skills to the next level and be part of a company that values innovation, quality, and people we want to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
