With a strong presence across the UK and internationally, they are looking to expand their field service team with a skilled and motivated engineer.The Role:As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing and repairing forklift trucks and other material handling equipment at customer sites. This is a mobile role covering planned maintenance, fault-finding, and breakdown response, ensuring safe, professional, and cost-effective service delivery.Key Responsibilities:Complete service, repair, and maintenance of electric lift trucks at customer sites.Conduct safety inspections and maintain accurate documentation (job sheets, parts usage, etc.).Manage and monitor van stock to ensure availability of parts.Maintain company equipment, tools, and van in a safe, clean condition.Work to planned schedules and meet deadlines efficiently.Deliver high standards of customer service and technical support.What We're Looking For:You'll need knowledge in one or more of the following areas:Mechanical EngineeringElectrical EngineeringHydraulic SystemsYou'll also need:Full UK Driving Licence (essential)Strong fault-finding and repair skillsExperience working in a service/maintenance environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills and a strong work ethicCommitment to Health & Safety and quality processesDesirable (Not Essential):Formal engineering qualification (NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds etc.)Package Includes:Hours: Monday to FridayVehicle: Company van + fuel card (private use available, subject to tax)Holiday: 25 days + bank holidaysOngoing training and career development opportunitiesReady to take the next step in your engineering career?Apply now or contact our team for a confidential discussion.TPBN1_UKTJ
