We manufacture a wide range of fabrication equipment for kitchens, bar areas and front of house, includingair extractionand input systems, all built to your specification.A highly respected commercial kitchen equipment supplier, we pride ourselves on working closely with our customers, providing a complete service offering advice on design and specification, from kitchen workflow considerations to current health and safety issues.We ensure it meets with your clients requirements and ultimately manufacture thequality productsyour customers/clients require to meet all their practical needs within the kitchen environment.Purpose of Job:(Why is the jobholder employed?)This role is to operate a Tru-Punch 100 (Trumpf) Machine.Main Duties:(What are the main duties or tasks of the Jobholder?)To do a daily start up and shut down of the machineWorking with sheet metal, dealing with a variety of products and materialsTo produce fault free productsMaintaining a clean and organised department.Work in accordance with company processes and procedures.To check job paperwork and liaise with the Drawing department for tooling/program issuesMeeting production demands and targets.To record sheet usage against scrap/wasteEnsuring quality and high standards are constantly met.Good visual inspection skills, with the ability to read engineering drawings is desirable.Assemble component parts prior to subsequent operations.Ensure assigned work is understood prior to commencingCarry out any lawful instruction by a member of the Management team.KPIsComply with Standard Operating ProceduresComply with site Health & Safety policies and processesComplete housekeeping duties in assigned areas on a daily basis / when requiredComplete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specificationsComplete any required paperwork on timeAdhere to all PPE / workwear requirementsSkills and behaviour:Key SkillsExcellent interpersonal skillsHigh level of attention to detail and accuracy is paramount.Excellent numeracy skillsAbility to communicate at all levels either face to face or in writing.Working knowledge of CNC machineryTrumpf Punch experienceExcellent work planning and organisational skillsAbility to meet deadlinesBehaviours:Process focusedPersonable and professional approach.Results DrivenNot afraid to ask for help, advice and assistance when required.Positive approach to work in all dealings and activities.Commitment to ongoing personal development.A can do approach to all dealings with colleaguesTPBN1_UKTJ
