HMLR's ambition is to become the worlds leading land registry for speed, simplicity and an open approach to data.We're looking for four great candidates with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team to help us achieve this.Job descriptionAs a member of the Document Production & Print Centre Team, who are responsible for the day-to-day workflow of HMLR print and dispatch output in line with defined Service Level Agreements (SLA).These roles require 100% office attendance:You will process and manage the day-to-day workflow of print and dispatch outputUndertake the full range of print and dispatch room production tasks using manual and machine assisted methods. Such as cut, trim and fold printed materials using manual and automated toolsCarry out regular quality checks during print and dispatch production operations and adjust machine settings accordingly.Responsible for the inspection of printed materials manually for defects & check colour accuracy & print alignmentLiaise with the Service Desk to ensure system problems are speedily identified and rectified; minimising disruption to print room operations.Carry out fault diagnostics and repairs within the remit of personal training and third-partyRaise engineer call outs, liaise with engineers on site and keep accurate records of machine maintenance undertakenPlease see attached candidate pack for further informationPerson specificationYou will be able to demonstrate the following Experience:Proven experience of delivering outputs with emphasis on speed, accuracy and qualityGood attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate documentationEffective communication skills, to interact and build relationships with IT technicians, managers, third party suppliers and colleaguesAble to work flexibly and contribute positively to the team environmentWorking under your own initiative, with minimal supervisionWork under pressure whilst exceeding tight production deadlinesDue to this post being instrumental in maintaining the Service Level Agreement of Central Print, the roles are only available on a full-time basis (37 hours per week, over 5 days) or for those candidates willing to job share.The post may require occasional planned out of hours working in order to deal with IT changes and maintenance.BehavioursWe'll assess you against these behaviours during the selection process:Communicating and InfluencingWorking TogetherDelivering at PaceBenefitsAlongside your salary of 25,792, HM Land Registry contributes 7,471 towards you being a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
