Global Paid Search Manager Salary - £53K Our  global luxury skincare client is looking for an experienced, data-driven Search Manager to lead its paid and organic search strategy across platforms including Google, Bing, YouTube, and emerging search channels. This role will own the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of all search marketing efforts - with the goal of driving high-intent traffic, scalable customer acquisition, and profitable growth. This position requires hands-on global campaign management, cross-functional collaboration, and a strategic mindset aligned with broader marketing and business goals. Location: Soho, London or NYCEmployment Status: Full timeTravel: OccasionalReports To:  Sr Manager, Media Key Responsibilities: Strategy & Planning· Develop and execute a holistic search marketing strategy that aligns with the brand’s broader digital goals and luxury positioning.· Define short- and long-term objectives for paid search, organic SEO, and YouTube advertising, including growth targets, channel mix, and budget allocation.· Identify emerging trends and platform updates (e.g., Performance Max, AI-based search, voice search, etc. ) and proactively test new opportunities.· Work closely with marketing team to ensure search strategy supports brand storytelling, new product launches, and global expansion plans. Paid Search· Manage all Google/Bing/other Ad accounts, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube campaigns.· Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience targeting, and competitive analysis to guide campaign structure and investment.· Build and maintain search campaigns from scratch — from ad copy and extensions to bidding strategy and negative keyword management.·  Continuously optimize campaigns for ROAS, CPA, and customer lifetime value by adjusting bids, creative, and targeting based on performance data.·  Oversee the development of YouTube video ad assets, working with creative teams or agencies to produce compelling video content that drives action.·  Test and iterate YouTube ad formats (skippable, bumper, in-feed) to balance awareness and performance goals.SEO·  Oversee technical SEO audits and work with developers to implement fixes (crawl errors, page speed, mobile usability, structured data, and internal linking, etc.).·  Create and maintain an ongoing SEO content roadmap in collaboration with copywriters and brand managers.·  Use tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog to analyze performance and identify gaps or new ranking opportunities.·  Maintain best practices across metadata, URL structure, schema markup, and multilingual/geo-specific SEO.·  Work with ecommerce manager and Copywriter to optimize existing landing pages, PDPs, blog content, and category structures for target keywords and improved rankings. Analytics & Reporting· Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on channel performance, presenting key insights to the marketing and leadership teams.· Build and maintain custom dashboards, tracking KPIs such as spend, clicks, conversions, ROAS, and organic visibility.· Run conversion funnel analyses to identify where customers drop off and opportunities to improve landing pages or messaging.· Use attribution modeling and customer journey mapping to assess search’s role in multi-touch campaigns. Experimentation & Innovation· Launch structured A/B and multivariate tests on ad copy, landing page design, CTA language, and keyword targeting to identify optimization wins.· Experiment with audience segmentation, including retargeting, affinity audiences, and first-party customer lists.· Stay ahead of industry trends and platform updates, bringing new ideas, tools, and tactics to improve performance and efficiency.· Conduct post-mortems and learnings reports after major campaigns or product launches to inform future efforts. Cross-Channel Integration· Partner with brand, content, and creative teams to ensure search ads and landing pages reflect luxury brand tone and storytelling.· Collaborate with the eCommerce and product teams on site navigation, UX, and new product SEO strategies.· Coordinate with paid social, CRM, and influencer teams to align campaigns and messaging across platforms. Education & Experience:· 3–6 years of hands-on experience managing paid search and SEO campaigns.· Strong command of Google Ads, Google Shopping, YouTube Ads, and GA4.· Proficiency with SEO tools.· Experience BigCommerce/Amplience is a plus.· Strong analytical skills with a data-first mindset.· Excellent organizational and communication skills — able to turn complex data into simple insights.
