Intro Loom Talent are exclusively supporting a new client with the recruitment of an Operations Manager at one of their Depots in West Sussex. Overview The role of Operations Manager is a newly created position to support the General Manager and to aid the continuous improvement of service delivery from the site. Our client has reported significant growth over the last 12 months the role offers the realistic opportunity for career progression. Key Responsibilities Oversee and support warehouse operations, with a strong focus on stock control and supply chain managementCarry out and manage PI (Perpetual Inventory) checksPeople management across warehouse and logistics teamsLead and implement process improvements and change initiativesSupport health and safety standards across the operationProvide awareness (though minimal involvement) of contract operationsServe as the key successor and substitute to the General Manager as required Ideal Candidate Profile Background as an Operations Manager or Warehouse Manager, with understanding of stock control and supply chain processesExperience in managing and developing peopleFamiliarity with final mile logisticsA hands-on and adaptable approach, with a view to stepping back from day-to-day operations once processes are embeddedStrong focus on process improvement and the continuous development of peopleKnowledge of Health & Safety standardsExperience in managing logistics and warehouse teams in a fast-paced environmentLiving in and able to commute across West Sussex Whats on offerSalary: £45,000 + PackageWorking pattern: Monday to Friday
