Senior Management Accountant, Central London, Media Production, £55,000-£60,000 (Hybrid Role)We are looking for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join the finance team where you’ll have a strong background in financial management and analysis.This role will involve working closely with senior management in particular the Financial Controller & Head of Finance to provide financial insights and drive business performance.Please note you must have previous experience within TV/Media Production Agencies!This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a broad role in a highly successful business.Main Responsibilities:Produce monthly P&L including commentary on all material variances.Prepare and process month end journals/reclassifications.Perform reconciliations from the general ledger to the management accountsReview and lead reporting deliverables from the outsourced teamEnsure agency commercial team provides necessary information for inclusion in month end numbersLiaise with agency commercial team on any areas of the management accounts under their controlProduce departmental P&L statements and present a synopsis to various key stake holders, as requiredIdentify areas where costs can be controlled and communicate these with department headsAnalysis of the Balance Sheet position and explanation of variances against budget and previous quartersPerform reconciliations from the general ledger to the management account balancesCash flow modellingCo-ordination of monthly working capital reporting.Prepare quarterly forecasts with actual and forward-looking budgetTake ownership of overhead cost budgeting in conjunction with agencyRequirements:Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)At least 3 years previous experience with Media/Marketing Agency.End to End Management Account experience a must.Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting best practiceCommercial mindset.Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.Experience of working with senior management to drive business performance.A clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality.Previous experience within the Media/TV sector.If this sounds like you please do get in touch here or via my email bertie.cox@.Trace is an innovative recruitment consultancy.
