Job Title: Behaviour Support AssistantsWe are recruitingBehaviour Support Assistantsto work in alternative education and specialist settings, supporting students who require additional guidance to engage with learning. This is a full-timeterm-time onlyrole, workingMonday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30 . The Role:Supporting students with behavioural needs, helping them to engage with lessons and develop positive coping strategies. Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to create a structured and supportive environment. Using de-escalation techniques and a positive approach to behaviour management. Building strong relationships with students to help them achieve their potential. Requirements:Experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural challenges (this could be in education, youth work, care, or similar roles). A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A genuine passion for supporting young people.
