With style!We’re seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead on a landmark luxury residential development in Central London. This pivotal role involves providing strategic commercial leadership, ensuring robust financial management, and supporting the wider commercial team to deliver a high-profile heritage transformation to the highest standards.The ProjectLocated just moments from Victoria Station, this £92m development is set within a stunning Grade I and II listed estate. The scheme will sensitively convert historic buildings into 42 ultra-prime residential apartments across three distinct blocks. A rooftop extension will house an exclusive penthouse, while a luxury wellness suite—including a gym, spa, and underground swimming pool—adds to the project's prestige. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in one of London’s most exciting and technically challenging residential conversions.Main Responsibilities:Take full commercial responsibility for the project, ensuring financial targets are achieved and exceeded.Lead procurement strategies for subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, ensuring robust contractual documentation and value for money.Oversee accurate and timely cost reporting, CVRs, forecasting, and cash flow management.Advise directors and project teams on commercial, progress, and contractual matters.Ensure interim valuations, variations, final accounts, and payments are administered professionally and in line with contract terms.Champion commercial risk management and ensure disputes are addressed proactively.Foster a high-performance culture within the commercial team through leadership, mentoring, and technical support.We’re Looking For:BSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)MRICS or working towards chartered statusProven track record in high-value residential or heritage projectsStrong understanding of NEC and JCT contractsCommercially astute with excellent negotiation and presentation skillsProficient in CVR reporting and cost planningFamiliar with ASTA PowerProjects or MS Project 2013/2016A confident communicator, capable of working with multiple stakeholders across design and delivery teamsExample of Company Benefits (Dependent on role level)Private Medical Cover (Most pre-existing conditions are covered) Competitive holiday allowances, starting with 25 + bank holidays and going up to 29 days + Bank holidays (dependant on length of service), Day off on your birthday also included!Competitive Maternity, Adoption & Paternity Pay schemeCompetitive pension scheme to help you for when you retireLife Assurance (Paying 4* your salary)Relevant professional membership fees paid and continued support with your professional growth and Learning.Generous Staff referral scheme, paying up to £3,500The opportunity to save up to 25% on your bike via the Cycle to work schemeDiscounts on 100's of retailers and GymsFurther Information About the RoleKindly be aware that this advertisement for our job vacancy may not encompass all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the role described.
