BWLON-1 Sirona Medical are recruiting NOW for SUPPORT WORKERS in multiple locations across London!! This is a brand new contract offering us around 41,450 hours of Support Worker shifts to fill each year!! They specialise in supporting sufferes of Domestic Abuse, Mental Health and Complex Needs, Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, the Elderly, Offender Rehabilitation, Drug and Alcohol Support, Young People and Modern Day Slavery. After all, our service users are the experts in their own lives.We welcome applications from candidates with lived experience.Person specification:- Basic knowledge of mental health issues. - Basic awareness of health and safety issues. - Willingness to cook and clean with the service users and to assist with personal care. - Willingness to work unsociable hours within a rota system including weekends, evenings and sleep-ins. - Willingness to maximise independence by motivating and supporting service users towards their goals. - Willingness to travel and work across the services when required. - Promotes a service user-oriented organisation by ensuring that all activity is aligned to identify service user needs. - Good literacy and numeracy skills. - Experience using MS office as well as producing letters etc. - Ability to use based Support Planning, Safety, Strength and Aspirations Assessment and Key working systems. - Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately.In return we offer a competitive salary, a supportive working environment and a host of benefits including pension, employee discounts, 25 days holiday per annum (for full-time positions) plus the option to buy an additional 3 weeks, cycle to work scheme and season ticket loan.
