We are looking for a dynamic individual who can come in and just add value!! Key Responsibilities: Support with balance sheet accounting and assurance. Manage all statutory accounting and reporting Oversee systems and process transformations Lead compliance, risk management, and controllership Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasts, and variance reporting Coordinate regulatory reporting requirements Research and resolve technical accounting issues Lead month-end and year-end close processes Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting Manage tax filings and compliance with reporting requirements Develop and document business processes and accounting policies Take ownership of balance sheet controls, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations, and identifying and addressing any discrepancies Implement processes to enhance the efficiency and reliability of balance sheet management and reporting Assist in building a high-performing finance function Build reports and manage data sets using Excel Requirements: ACA Qualified or equivalent with strong academics Proven experience leading a sizable finance team Strong background in financial reporting, balance sheet control, and financial processes Your Profile: Fun, people-centric individual with a passion for financial accounting Comfortable commuting to the outskirts of Reading 2-3 days a week Competitive daily rate of £450-£500, commensurate with experience Join us in shaping a world-class finance function and accelerating your career towards a Finance Director role.
