Teaching and Learning Practitioner - Level 3 (SEN Support) - Primary School | Full-TimeAspire People are currently working on behalf of a welcoming primary school in the Stoke area that is seeking to appoint a Teaching and Learning Practitioner - Level 3 to join their passionate and committed team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).About The RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children with SEN, working closely with class teachers and the school's SENCo. You will be responsible for delivering tailored interventions, supporting learning activities, and helping create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.Key Responsibilities IncludeSupporting high-quality teaching and learning, both in-class and in small group or 1:1 settings. Assisting in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of lessons and interventions. Working closely with the class teacher/SENCo to implement and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Helping to maintain accurate pupil records and SEN documentation. Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Supporting the use of IT across the curriculum. Supervising and supporting pupils during educational visits and external appointments. Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding and GDPR regulations.What We're Looking ForA relevant qualification at NVQ Level 2 (minimum), or working towards this. Experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A positive, proactive approach with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning. A Level 1 Safeguarding qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
