Domestic Supervisor x2 Salary: £25,674 per annum Location: Bolton Hours: 37.5 per week including days, evenings, and weekends Closing date: 30th June 2023 Interview date: TBC We have an exciting opportunity for two Domestic Supervisors to join our team on a permanent basis. This position is well-suited to an organized and driven individual seeking to gain experience in a healthcare setting. Job Role:Supervise domestic services to ensure high standards of cleanliness and working practices are maintained to support patient well-being and help reduce hospital-acquired infections, consulting with clinical staff when required.Oversee the wellbeing and supervision of Domestic Assistants.Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as flushing records and chlor clean documentation, is completed accurately and timely.Participate in recruitment processes including shortlisting, interviewing, selection, and monitoring probationary periods.Prioritize workload considering the reactive nature of the job and unforeseen variations to ward or department routines.Plan and organize deep cleaning sessions to meet deadlines.Create and maintain work plans based on cleaning specifications and area risk categories.Coach and develop new Domestic Assistants and update existing staff with refresher training, maintaining training records.Attend all relevant training and team meetings as directed by the line manager.Communicate effectively with service users to gather feedback on domestic services.Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:Supervisory experience.Domestic cleaning or healthcare experience preferred.Proficient in IT.Strong understanding of customer and patient service values.Flexible and adaptable to changing needs.Ability to work irregular hours when required.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.For full details regarding this role, please view the job description and person specification.
