The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main MEH, cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power stations 2,500 rooms.The roleAs an HVAC Construction Engineer, youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. Youll lead, manage and motivate the team through implementation of best practice, support continuous improvement programmes to improve process/procedures and ensure compliance with all nuclear safety and site license requirements.Day to day, youll deliver HVAC Construction Workpacks to support the MEH Alliance programme as well as providing and demonstrating a positive HSE leadership, building a strong and compliant HS&E culture throughout the whole construction life cycle of the Project.Enable the use of the Procon system to support the construction works and progress reporting of the MEH Alliance.Enable the requesting and compliance of the MEH Alliance for the Work Authorisation and Permit systems operated by NNB.Enable the co-ordination of safe access routing to workfaces to support the MEH Alliance construction works.Enable the topographical and other surveying required to support the MEH Alliance construction works.Prioritisation and ownership of documentation to enable construction works as per the level 4 plan . E.g. T-3 months accepted prior to worksEnsuring documents are compliant with latest works information and other MEH documentationThis is a full-time role with 37 hours per week based on the Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset.Essential experience of the HVAC Construction EngineerExperience working on major construction projects. With proven track record of working in a highly regulated sector and knowledge and experience in Safe Systems of WorkExperienced in delivering and operating at Engineer or Senior Engineer level, including experience working within Joint VenturesQualifications for the HVAC Construction EngineerHNC qualification or equivalent vocational training and experience of installing HVAC systems.Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
