Duties And Responsibilities Managing the incoming enquires coordinating with sales on what are the days and customer priorities are. Keeping close eye to deadlines so not to lose anything unintentionally. Create cost build ups for customer enquires with in-depth knowledge of materials, manufacturing, plating and testing knowledge. Create supplier relationships with all needed suppliers and sub vendors in order to get best and timely prices. Driving to help turn inhouse stocks so need to be completely familiar with all internally. Keep in-tune with market trends, availability of main material grades to be an advisor of any short falls on grades and diameters communicate to order processing. Keep a close eye on repeated parts, materials, product types and make recommendations to the board of anything that could be advantageous to make us more competitive ongoing. Constant under current or searching for new suppliers that could potentially give us a competitive edge. Work studies of machine times, cataloguing times, tooling, and creating easy guides to aid in estimating continual improvement approach that can streamline ways to work. Keeping in tune with current company capacities in all different areas so to stay on point with delivery offerings also subcon vendors. Any hot shots to be discussed with all if it can be done before commitment. Making sure both departments are always following health and safety protocols. Continual improvement in all that you do.
