Job title: Technical AuthorClient: Tech FirmSalary: £40,000-£45,000 + BonusExperience Level: 2+ YearsLocation: Near Bracknell (Hybrid)Skills: Technical Authoring, Developers, Jira, Madcap Flare, DocumentationThe role:My client are looking to ad to their Technical Authoring team and take on a knowledgeable Technical Author.You will work closely with the Development team to produce high quality documentation and release notes for customers, as well as a myriad of other activities.The ideal candidate will be happy to be in the office 1 or 2 days per week.Responsibilities:Maintaining and expanding release notes, online resources and other materialsWorking with JiraProduct testing as it applies to creating robust and relevant documentationWriting, reviewing and editing content utilising various tools including Jira, Word, Google Docs and Madcap FlareMaintaining up to date files with version controlProviding training where requiredCore skills required:2+ years of experience working as a Technical AuthorExperience working with Development teams / Developers to create precise and thorough release notesSome experience with Jira, Madcap Flare or AzureDesirable skills:JavaScriptGoogle AnalyticsAgileGithub / Version ControlPythonPlease apply ASAP for more information.
