You'll work on the specification, evaluation, and research of technologies such as:GNSS receivers and multi-constellation systemsInertial Measurement Units (IMUs)Anti-jam units and Controlled Reception Pattern Antennas (CRPAs)You'll also:Monitor supplier developments and tech roadmapsSupport trials and performance assessmentsContribute to international research and development programmesThis is a fantastic opportunity to grow technical depth in navigation sensors, work on cutting-edge solutions, and support multi-national innovation initiatives.What We're Looking For:A degree-qualified engineer or physicist (electronics, physics or similar)Experience in defence, aerospace, or a related sectorStrong knowledge of navigation, avionics, or RF engineeringDesirable: Project delivery or commercial exposureUseful: Modelling skills in MATLAB and/or SimulinkAdditional Knowledge (Desirable):GNSS systems, multi-constellation functionality, and integrationReceivers, anti-jam technologies, and CRPAsGNSS system chain performance challengesJamming/spoofing detection and mitigationInertial sensor performance and specification
