I am currently recruiting for a fabric maintenance engineer for a temporary position in South Kensington. To be suitable for this role you must meet the below criteria: Have a minimum of 3 years fabric maintenance experience in a commercial environment. Have a background in general trades, i.e., painting, carpentry, plastering. Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references from work completed in the past 5 years. Have your own safety boots and basic hand tools. My client is one of the largest facilities providers in the UK and the successful fabric engineer will be based at a commercial building in Kensington. The working hours are 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri, and also working a weekend every 2 weeks with 2 days off in the week. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, general maintenance, flushing, making good, hanging doors, changing door locks, painting, and assisting M&E engineers. My client is looking for a client-facing fabric engineer with a good attitude to work and advanced knowledge of general maintenance/building services.
