Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Live-in Care Assistant As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will live with one of our customers or possibly a couple, to deliver the highest quality care. You will serve as a companion and support them to maintain their independence and cherish their memories at home. Providing personal care duties Administering medication Manual handling, using equipment where required Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest Household chores Meal preparation Shopping Social outings Offering companionship Your Experience and Suitability for the Live-in Care Assistant Role Previous experience is a bonus but not essential. We prioritize compassion, care, and patience to ensure the best match for our customers. We want team members who genuinely care for each customer as if they were family. Because We Care About You Competitive rates of £600 - £625 per week Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays If using your own vehicle for customer use, you will be entitled to 35p per mile Three meals a day or an allowance from the customer. You will also have a private room with access to a TV and WIFI Regular contact with your supervisor and access to our career pathway for qualifications to enhance your skills and confidence Ongoing training and support Scheduled daily and weekly breaks to rest and relax in or outside the customer’s home A clear schedule of working hours and downtime We also support our team throughout the year with celebrations and recognitions.
