For more information about our services and ethos, visit our website at Overview:We are seeking a detail-orientated and strategic FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing financial insights that drive business decisions and support the financial goals of the organisation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations and technology divisions, to ensure financial accuracy and to enhance the Group’s overall performance.Main ResponsibilitiesFinancial Data Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of monthly financial data through meticulous review and analysis. WIP Management: Calculate the Technology division’s Work In Progress (WIP), accrued income, and deferred income on a monthly basis for the Group. Monthly Accounts Reconciliation: Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of group monthly accounts, preparing financial reports in a timely manner. Financial Forecasting: Develop and maintain forecasts of divisional financial performance, providing insights into expected outcomes and variances. Trend Analysis: Identify financial trends and variances, collaborating with operational teams to recommend strategies for performance improvement. Management Reporting: Prepare and produce accurate management reports, focusing on sales analysis, margins, and other KPIs essential for decision-making. Process Improvement: Actively seek opportunities to enhance current systems, processes, and financial models, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in reporting and analysis.Skills RequiredData Analysis: Proficient in analysing and interpreting complex financial data to provide actionable insights. Financial Modelling: Strong capabilities in building and maintaining robust financial models to support business cases and forecasts. Forecasting: Experience in creating accurate and reliable financial forecasts based on historical data and market trends. Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, specifically Sage 200 and Microsoft Excel. Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
