Facilitate effective communication between the school and families. Organise and lead family engagement activities and workshops.Multi-agency Coordination: Collaborate with external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for pupils. Coordinate multi-agency meetings and follow up on action points. Maintain accurate records of multi-agency interactions and interventions.Safeguarding: Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to. Conduct safeguarding training and awareness sessions for staff and families. Manage safeguarding concerns and liaise with relevant authorities as necessary.Administrative Duties: Maintain detailed records of family and multi-agency interactions. Prepare reports and documentation for senior leadership and external agencies. Assist in the development and implementation of school policies related to family and multi-agency engagement.Person Specification:Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education, social work, or a related field. Safeguarding training and certification.Experience: Experience working with children with SLD and PMLD. Proven track record in family support and multi-agency coordination. Experience in a school or educational setting is desirable.Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Empathetic, caring, and professional approach.
