MIG welding experience is not essential but desirable.The package is dependent on experience, but will include:- Competitive Salary - negotiable based on experience-Basic Hours - 39 hours a week- Monday- Friday-Attendance Bonus Scheme - 864.00 per annum (conditions apply)-Overtime opportunities (Paid at 1.5 hourly rate)-AXA Health Scheme , including:Employee Assistance ProgrammeOptical and Dental Cash back planOnline GP access-Annual Leave - 20 days plus bank holidays (plus 1 additional day after 12 months service)-Health surveillance checks- Nest Pension Scheme- Free on-site parking- Company Induction and In-House Initial training - Opportunities for further training and progression( after 6 months service)The role will involve:Supporting the Production Manager and foreman in developing a high standard of refuse collection vehiclesAbility to read drawings and carry out works in accordance with drawings supplied in build packs.A working knowledge of using power tools, hydraulics, electrics and completing MIG weldingWorking in a timely manner producing finished products to build process deadlinesAbility to raise issues during a build process and record any changesActively capturing and recording information to be standardised and used in future buildsSupport sub-contractors, such as Camera, Weigh, and other ancillary companies while on siteMonitoring build process and liaising with Production Manager and foreman so appointments for sub-contractors can be arranged.Completing all relevant paperworkAssisting with the preparations for vehicle inspections and testingTo carry out and complete other duties as required in line with the companies needsWhilst fulfilling the role the successful candidate will be expected to maintain good housekeeping practices and demonstrate responsibility for their personal health and safety and those around them, including risk assessing their own work to ensure safe working practices are being carried out and using Personal Protective Equipment as and when appropriate.TPBN1_UKTJ
