This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.What are the benefits?As a Class 1 Driver you will receive the following benefits:Excellent hourly ratesOngoing workWeekly payTraining providedImmediate startsDay to Day Duties:Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:RDC or customer deliveries which may include handballing (working on curtain-side or tail lift vehicles)Operating and driving various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locationsPerforming pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsuring all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhering to traffic laws and regulationsCommunicating effectively with dispatch and customersReporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementAssisting with loading and unloading of cargo as neededCompleting any paperworkEssential Skills:As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:Hold a valid UK Category CE LicenceHave a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehiclesNo more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codesHave a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi CardMust be able to speak and read a good level of EnglishPunctuality and excellent time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsEffective communication skillsDesirable ExperienceExperience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficialPrevious experience with multi drop deliveries will be beneficialTrainingPaid Induction to be completed and ongoing support throughoutContactThis client values its workers and provides an excellent work environment.
