Job Description Part-Time Finance Assistant Position: Permanent Part Time Reporting to: Finance Manager Hours of work: 22 24 hours per week (flexible) Location: HybridA variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.- Home and Office based in Hertford.Salary: 23,000.00- 25,000.00 depending on experience ____________________________________________________________________________ About our agency Music Concierge is a best-in-class global music agency specialising in the creation of brand identity through music.For over a decade, we have been responsible for the signature sounds of internationally renowned luxury brands including One & Only, Raffles and Mandarin Oriental.We also curate music identities for design-led lifestyle hotels, luxury retail and automotive brands and wellness destinations.Music changes how people think, lifts their mood and influences their behaviour.We sculpt soundscapes to create unique atmospheres, reinforce brand values and enhance customer experiences.We are a growing team (60 people), with offices in London, Dubai, South Africa, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore and Shanghai.www.musicconcierge.co.uk Our sister agencies span other creative and technical disciplines, with a particular focus on wellness.www.kaleidovision.co.uk www.earthskycollection.com We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Finance Assistant to join our friendly, collaborative team on a part-time basis.This role would suit a qualified bookkeeper or finance professional with 10 years experience in finance, ideally within an SME or creative industry environment.You will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, working closely with the Finance Manager and wider team.Your main responsibilities will cover: Key responsibilities: Accounts Payable process supplier invoices and prepare supplier payments Accounts Receivable raise sales invoices and manage customer billing queries Credit Control monitor and follow up on outstanding debts in a professional manner General Ledger Posting enter journals accurately into accounting software Payroll support assisting HR as required Query Management liaise with suppliers and clients to resolve invoice/payment queries This role also involves collaboration with multiple internal teams About you Youll be a proactive and adaptable finance professional who enjoys working in a close-knit team.Youll bring a positive, can-do attitude to a varied role in a growing company.Essential Experience and Attributes Qualified Bookkeeper (AAT or equivalent) or qualified by experience Minimum 10 years experience in a finance role Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks Online preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently A natural team player with a problem-solving mindset Desirable Familiarity with SharePoint and Teams What we offer in return Being part of an agency with a strong growth plan.We are at the top of our game and recognised as such at a global level.
