We value building strong partnerships and providing strategic support to drive growth and success.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a new part time team member to serve as Compliance Director, hold SMF16/Compliance Oversight and SMF17/MLRO roles and support us as we grow. Depending on your experience the role could be expanded to include a wider operational role including overseeing our fund administrator and professional advisors. This role is part time and flexible, estimated at two days a week, with the potential to increase as we grow. Whilst the role can be performed remotely we expect you to visit the London office from time to time. This role would be particularly suitable for someone with a portfolio of similar roles. You must have had direct experience of working within a compliance function, either in a compliance consultancy, investment management or other relevant financial services setting. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive approach to compliance management and will suit a self-starter with the ability to work independently, getting involved in all levels of compliance work, while collaborating effectively with senior management.Role Criteria & Qualifications You will:Own all aspects of the compliance framework, maintaining a high quality compliance environment within a team of 9 and liaising with our outsourced back office teamBe responsible for anti-money laundering compliance providing oversight, control and support for AML complianceOversee regulatory reporting obligations including FCA RegData returns and Connect filingsManage group entities including incorporating new vehicles (onshore and offshore)and submitting filingsManage our relationships and accounts with our clearing banksAttend investment committee and board meetings, be responsible for minutes and ensure matters arising are actionedRemain current with all relevant regulatory changes that impact the business and ensure the business and senior management remain abreast of their obligationsIn addition you will have:Strong analytical skills and experience of working in an investment knowledgeEffective communication skillsA bachelor's degreeA professional certification in compliance, law or related area is a plus
