Selby Jennings have partnered with a unique and forward-thinking syndicate, actively seeking to grow their Pricing team in London.They are looking for a Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary to focus on case pricing duties across an array of LOBs within Specialty Casualty classes. The role will involve close collaboration with underwriting and claims teams to support account and case pricing strategies, technical pricing model development, internal and regulatory reporting, MI and dashboard creation, as well as client management and stakeholder engagement responsibilities.Role Requirements:- Nearly Qualified Actuary or Qualified Actuary up to 3 years PQE.- 3 to 7 years of experience, ideally in the London Market, but open to other Commercial, Specialty, or Reinsurance backgrounds.- Prior case pricing experience is required, preferable across long-tailed lines and products.- Proficient with Actuarial software and tools, i.e., Python, R, VBA etc.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for the front-facing aspects of case and account-level pricing.
