We take pride in providing superior customer service.Here at One Stop, an expanding RAC approved garage, we are recruiting an experienced mechanic/technicians to join our friendly team at our busy Southeast London workshop. You will be kept busy in our multi-ramp workshop and form part of an exciting and fun team keen to drive our passion for excellence and rivaled customer service.Job DescriptionThe desirable candidate will repair, maintain, inspect, and install parts by completing diagnostic tests using manual tools and specialist diagnostic equipment whilst working with customers and colleagues to establish a time frame for the completion of projects. The successful candidate will:Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately in a timely mannerUtilize specialist diagnostic equipment to complete diagnostic testsConduct routine maintenance work i.e. replacing fluids, lubricating parts and etc.Parts Fitting i.e. From Brakes Pads to Engine , GearboxWork with colleagues and/or customers to determine the possible sources of machinery problems and define what issues needs to be resolvedPerform regular inspection and maintenance on working machinery to ensure proper upkeepEnsure projects are completed effectively, in a timely mannerRepair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues i.e. leaks, punctures and tyre changePerform other ad hoc activities as requested by the managementRequirementsThe desired candidate will be ale to demonstrate the following skills:Prove track record of experience as a vehicle technicianRelevant qualification or training is desirableExcellent knowledge of the mechanical components of vehiclesWorking knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systemsAbility to handle various tools and heavy equipment i.e. lift and rampsClear, concise, and effective communication skills (English)Full UK driving license (Preferred)BenefitsCompetitive SalaryPaid holidays plus BenefitsProfessional development fundingVisa SponsorshipJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
