Job Title: Junior Interior DesignerContract Type: Fixed-Term (2 Years)Start Date: September 2025Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (35 hours per week)Holiday Entitlement: 28 days annual leave plus bank holidaysLocation: Grassington, North Yorkshire (ability to travel independently required)Role Overview:We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Junior Interior Designer to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of post-graduate experience to contribute to a range of dynamic interior design projects. The ideal candidate will be passionate about interior architecture and design, highly organised, and confident in working both independently and collaboratively.You’ll work closely with senior designers, clients, and suppliers, contributing to the design process from concept through to completion.Key Responsibilities:Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and presentationsPrepare and update technical drawings using AutoCADSource and specify FF&E and fabric suppliers, maintaining a strong understanding of current trends and productsLiaise professionally with clients and suppliers, obtaining quotes and coordinating sample requestsSupport the project team in meeting deadlines and managing day-to-day tasksWork on visual documentation using Adobe Photoshop and InDesignMaintain accurate records using Microsoft Office SuiteLearn and support estimating processes, with training provided in Estimac / EstiPC if neededTravel independently to project sites and supplier meetings as requiredSkills & Experience Required:Degree in Interior Architecture & Design or equivalentMinimum 2 years of relevant industry experienceProficiency in AutoCAD – with a portfolio showcasing work beyond university projectsStrong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)Confident use of Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with supplier sourcing, quoting, and purchasingExcellent communication skills – professional and personableAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficientlyFull, clean UK driving licence
