Environmental Health & Food Safety Compliance Officer - Food and Beverage Partners - Event Space - London - up to £52k + bonus & great bensWe are looking for an experienced Environmental Health & Food Safety Compliance Officer, with relevant experience conducting food safety audits and producing and reviewing HACCP, risk assessments and policy documentation, to join a leading events venue in London. Joining a world class venue, the main responsibility of this role is to have operational responsibility for ensuring that all retail units, kitchens and commercial partnerships across the venue are food safety and legislatively compliant. You will act as a key knowledge holder / provider to all stakeholders and will ensure that immediate actions are taken where non-compliance issues arise.Key responsibilities as the Environmental Health & Food Safety Compliance Officer will include: Working with all food & beverage partners to ensure they meet legislative and food safety compliance and be the main point of contact for all food safety mattersEnsuring required standards of safety, security, cleanliness, service delivery and presentation standards are maintainedEnsuring that quality control and reporting systems are in placeConducting regular inspections and event audits across the venuePoint of liaison with external auditors and caterers Supporting the management of crises and incident investigationProactively managing and adapting policies and procedures in accordance with HACCP/procedures/allergen informationEnsuring food exhibitors comply with all food safety regulationsMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of all compliance legislation and paperworkAnd more!What we’re looking for: Previous experience in similar food safety and compliance roles (c5 years experience desired)Food Safety Level 4 requiredA qualified Environmental Health Officer is highly advantageousExperience in a client-facing, vendor relations role with strong relationship management skillsDemonstrable success in developing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring and auditing food safety and quality programsExperienced in writing and implementing policies and strategiesExperience in conducting food safety audits and producing associated reportsExperienced in producing and reviewing HACCP, risk assessments and policy documentationUnderstanding of how local authorities operate, how food hygiene inspections are conducted and a detailed understanding of the Food Hygiene Rating SchemeStrong understanding of food safety, allergen and health 'safety legislation and ability to implement policies and proceduresIT literate Proactive, organised and meticulous natureInterested in this Environmental Health and Food Safety Compliance Officer role?If you have the skills and experience we’re looking for and are looking for a new, challenging role, then we want to hear from you ASAP!
