Account Manager – Public Sector & NHS Focus Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM Location: LS28, Leeds (Head Office) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Up to £30,000 per year plus commissionAbout Core TelecomCore Telecom is a leading, fast-paced telecommunications network provider headquartered in Leeds. As part of our expansion, we're seeking a driven and professional Account Manager to join our head-office team, with a key focus on supporting and growing our Public Sector client base—particularly NHS organisations.This is a varied and strategic office-based role that combines account management, business development, and customer support. It offers excellent long-term growth potential within a progressive and forward-thinking organisation.Role OverviewAs an Account Manager, you will be responsible for proactively and reactively managing a portfolio of new and existing clients, with a strong emphasis on Public Sector customers. You will play a key role in maintaining long-term relationships and identifying opportunities to deliver added value through our range of telecom solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow a dynamic portfolio accounts including Public Sector and NHS accountsBuild and maintain strong, credible relationships with key stakeholdersIdentify and capitalise on cross-selling and up-selling opportunitiesProactively generate new business within the Public SectorRespond to inbound sales enquiries and convert leads into long-term clientsMeet and exceed individual sales targets and campaign objectivesEssential Skills and ExperienceExperience in proactive sales and account developmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapportProactive, target-driven mindset with a commitment to delivering resultsComfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities under pressurePositive, enthusiastic, and professional approachProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelDemonstrated success in an office-based sales environmentDesirable AttributesExperience in proactive sales and account developmentFamiliarity with telecom solutions or a technical sales environmentAccount management experience within the Corporate Sector, particularly the NHSThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation where your sector expertise and client management skills will be highly valued.
