I am working with a leading freight forwarding company, with offices across the UK who are searching for a Management Accountant to be based in their Oldham Office.Responsibilities:Within this role you will support the finance team in delivering accurate management accounts, reporting, and financial insights to support iwith business strategy and operational decision-making.Prepare and deliver full monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statementsManage accruals, prepayments, and assist in the month-end close processOversee payroll checks, BACS submissions, and ensure HMRC compliancePerform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficientlyContribute to group-level sales reporting and intercompany rechargesProduce and analyse monthly KPIs and operational dashboards using tools such as Power BI and ExcelCoordinate VAT return preparation and support submission for reviewPopulate and maintain monthly management information packs in ExcelLead the preparation of audit deliverables and support the year-end audit processSupport financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cyclesCarry out day-to-day financial operations including banking and journal postingsProvide financial analysis and ad hoc project support to the Group FD and Senior Finance ManagerExperience:Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reportingAdvanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulae)Experience using Power BI for data analysis and financial reportingImportant Notice: Noble Recruiting Limited, based in Billericay, Essex, is an equal opportunities employer.
