They require ITIL foundation cert, or CompTIA certs.This mid-level role ensuring smooth operation of their desktop environment and IT systems.You will be providing timely support and maintenance for desktop software and hardware within the organisation and involves troubleshooting hardware issues, installing and configuring software applications, and ensuring user workstations operate efficiently and securely.Key responsibilities include resolving user-reported issues, managing hardware inventories, assisting with software updates, and maintaining endpoint security complianceKey Responsibilities:Provide 1st/2nd line support for hardware, software, and desktop issues (Windows environment)Administer and troubleshoot Active DirectorySet up and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devicesInstall, configure, and support business applicationsLog and manage incidents, escalating when necessarySupport users across on-site and remote environmentsAssist with Intune management (desirable)Requirements:2+ years’ experience in an IT support/helpdesk roleSolid desktop support knowledge (hardware/software)Experience with Active DirectoryITIL Foundation or CompTIA A+/N+ certificationsStrong communication and troubleshooting skillsFull UK driving licence and access to own vehicleExperience with Microsoft Intune a plusDesktop Support Technician, Helpdesk, 1st & 2nd line, Microsoft/ Windows, Hardware & Software, AD, ITIL Foundation or CompTIA, Drive and own a vehicle, Onsite 5 days a week.
