As part of our small but passionate Communications & Recruitment team, you’ll play a key role in representing GBCH as an inclusive, empowering employer, helping us recruit great staff and engage our community through creative, meaningful content. About the RoleWe’re looking for someone creative, organised, and proactive to support both our recruitment and social media efforts. You’ll cover maternity leave, following a draft plan but also bringing your own ideas. You’ll assist in finding suitable candidates following safer recruitment procedures, maintaining our online presence, and supporting the team with content creation and scheduling. This role suits someone who can work independently and enjoys variety. What you’ll do:Recruitment supportShortlist applicants via Indeed and our website Review applications and forward suitable candidates to hiring managers Notify unsuccessful applicants Arrange interviews and send confirmations Check references and employment gaps Collaborate with the HR & Recruitment Manager on hiring campaigns Track recruitment data (applications, interviews, hires) Prepare materials for job fairs and community events (posters, flyers, merchandise) Suggest content ideas to fill roles faster, especially hard-to-reach ones Social media coordinationCreate and schedule posts using a draft content calendar and Canva templates Monitor pages daily for comments or feedback, responding or escalating as needed Guide the content creator, assign tasks, review edits, and ensure brand consistency Proofread AI-generated captions, adapting tone and style Review visuals, suggest ideas, and plan content Represent GBCH to external stakeholders such as media outlets Handle urgent posts or campaigns as required Maintain alignment with GBCH’s branding standards Ad campaigns & brandingManage Meta and LinkedIn ads supporting recruitment Ensure consistent branding across platforms and materials Adjust content for awareness days or updates About you:Experience in recruitment admin or social media coordination (both preferred) Strong written English and attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office, Canva, Buffer, Google Workspace Familiar with Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn ad tools Ability to manage workload independently Open to following structures and suggesting improvements What you’ll get:A 12-month content calendar and draft blueprint Full handover and support before maternity leave A supportive, values-driven team Enhanced DBS costs covered Casual dress and company events Westfield Health Cash Plan Company pension#J-18808-Ljbffr
