ROLE PURPOSE We are seeking a dedicated and talented Creative Pattern Cutter to join our growing team. In this highly collaborative and hands on role, youll work closely with our Creative Director and Design team to develop first toiles and translate designs into beautifully constructed garments. You will bring expert technical knowledge to both our Main Collection and Bespoke/VIP orders, shaping garment fit, functionality, and finish to couture standards. This role is central to the creative process. You will attend fittings, liaise across Design, Atelier and Production, and support local manufacturers with quality control. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Proven experience as a Creative Pattern Cutter, ideally within a luxury or couture brand Expert knowledge of pattern cutting, construction, textiles, and grading Skilled in moulage and draping (essential) Strong understanding of garment fitting and technical adjustments Ability to interpret design drawings and technical packs with precision Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Clear communicator with excellent collaboration skills Degree in Fashion Design, Pattern Cutting, Tailoring or equivalent AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Pattern Development & Garment Construction Create first toile patterns for both Main Collection and bespoke garments Sew or oversee sewing of toiles, ensuring fit, balance, and silhouette meet design intent Lead fit sessions, make amendments, and document all changes accurately Attend bespoke appointments to provide technical support alongside the Design team Offer creative and technical input on complex garment designs Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with the Design, Atelier and Production teams to ensure cohesive product execution Advise on construction, grading, and materials during development Support with quality control visits to manufacturers when required Ensure all garments align with luxury finishing standards Compliance & Quality Control Maintain documentation of garment specifications and pattern alterations Ensure adherence to industry and brand standards throughout the process Actively contribute to continuous improvement of processes and garment quality WHAT WE OFFER Creative and supportive work environment in a prestigious luxury bridal brand Opportunities for professional growth and involvement in both collection and bespoke design Pension scheme and staff benefits
