They function as the company's largest team in the UK, and you would primarily focus on assisting the team with syndicated finance, structured finance, and corporate advisory matters alongside in-office legal counsel the head of Legal (based internationally).They offer a competitive salary and excellent flexible working, with a generous benefits package (see below), hybrid working, and a 9-5 day. This is an excellent opportunity for a successful finance solicitor with the right experience to move in-house and join a friendly and flexible team with a competitive salary!Key Responsibilities:Assist the Project Finance team (infrastructure and energy) with syndicated loan and structured finance matters, ensure full compliance and due diligence is carried out while providing legal advice as needed.Support UK based legal counsel in providing the bank with legal support, advising senior Executives and ensuring full compliance.Working with legal counsel and reporting to Head of Legal on an international basis, supporting the global progress of project finance teams and on occasion travelling internationally.Supporting the development of the office and assisting with office initiatives.Desired Skills and Experience:UK qualified solicitor of 3-5 PQE or equivalent qualification. Other levels will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Excellent post-qualification experience from an internationally recognised law firm (or private employer), ideally sitting a training contract in a Top 50 UK firm, US firm, or major international Employer.Strong experience overseeing project finance and syndicated loan matters, ideally with some experience managing or assisting on structured finance matters.Strong academic background with a 2:1 degree at a minimum.The ability to speak conversational German is beneficial but in no way essential.Excellent communication skills with colleagues and members of staff.High levels of attention to detail.As renumeration this employer offers a highly competitive salary at the top of the market with a package that includes 30 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), 10%+ pension contribution, private healthcare, and other benefits along market lines.
