If you have a passion for precision, leadership experience, and a background in managing large-scale project controls, this could be your next step.Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the MEHA Project Controls Manager, youll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and strategic direction of Project Controls within the contract. Your scope will span all key areas of project governance from planning, scheduling, and cost control, to risk, change, and performance analysis. Youll guide a dedicated team, liaise with a broad range of stakeholders, and ensure the consistent application of best-in-class Project Controls standards throughout the lifecycle of the contract.Youll lead, manage and support Project Controls staff across the contract, ensuring team development and performance.Youll act as the primary interface between contract-level Project Controls and senior internal stakeholders, including functional leads and alliance partners.Youll ensure full compliance with project governance frameworks, standards, procedures, and Work Instructions (WI) specific to project controls.Youll own and oversee all aspects of cost, schedule, and performance reporting across the programme ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and insight.Youll implement and drive earned value management (EVM) across the contract, ensuring consistency and integrity of data.Youll collaborate with the Scheduling team to analyse and maintain programme-level schedules.Youll maintain cost data using approved cost control systems, producing monthly Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP) calculations.Youll lead the production of cost and cash flow forecasts in alignment with the established Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS).Youll identify, evaluate, and manage contract-level risks and opportunities, and ensure accurate impact assessments on schedule and cost.Youll take a lead role in change control supporting accurate change identification, assessment, and representation within budgets and timelines.Youll provide clear, consistent reports to internal stakeholders, highlighting performance indicators, trends, risks, and emerging issues.Youll support forward planning for resource needs and budget alignment across the contract.What Youll Bring to the Role:You have a degree in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.You have substantial experience in a leadership role within Project Controls on a major construction or regulated infrastructure project.You have a deep understanding of cost, estimating, risk, and scheduling functions within large-scale project environments.You have leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.You have experience delivering complex projects in a highly regulated environment preferably in the nuclear or energy sector.Youre proficient in using key software tools, including Procon, Primavera P6, SAP, and Active Risk Manager (ARM).You have strong reporting, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.Chartered status or equivalent professional qualification preferred.What we offer:We know that great people do great work when theyre supported, valued, and inspired.
