Please note this is a fixed starting salary for this position and is non-negotiable due to being included on the skills framework. There will be opportunity to progress through the framework to Senior HR administrator as skills develop. This is a part-time role only. About the role: The HR administrator role covers three levels from assistant to senior administrator, dependent on the level of skills and experience of the individual. It’s the starting point for our HR career pathway, providing an entry into HR and ongoing growth and continued career progression for the individual. The HR administrator sits within the HR operations team and provides an efficient and effective administrative support service to the HR team and the wider organisation. Responsibilities will include: Triaging queries into the HR team Answering and resolving a range of HR queries relating to the employee lifecycle (depending on the complexity), responding in a timely manner, or escalating more complex queries to the relevant person for resolution Administration of our benefits Updating and maintaining our HR system and other online tools Coaching and supporting employees and managers to utilise the self-service elements of HR systems and intranet to resolve queries themselves Key Skills and Experience: Practical experience working within a fast paced, and customer focussed administration environment within a HR function The ability to work appropriately with highly confidential information and issues Evidence of strong administrative and organisational skills Comfortable with using systems and Microsoft 365 Good communication skills including the ability to work effectively with diverse client groups Excellent interpersonal and customer- facing skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure whilst retaining a strong eye for detail We know that sometimes people can be put off applying for a job if they think they can’t tick every box, so we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements, but you feel this role is perfect for you.
