Our client are looking for a strategic and forward-thinking SEO & Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Specialist to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. Global SEO Strategy & Capability BuildingDevelop and maintain a global SEO framework with best practices, standards, and implementation guidelinesProvide SEO support for website migrations and large-scale platform changes2. Lead Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) StrategyCreate and roll out a global GEO strategy to optimise visibility in generative AI search resultsBuild and maintain a centralised repository of authoritative content, insights, and dataMonitor emerging search trends and generative AI algorithms, updating strategies and training materials accordingly3. Enable & Collaborate Across RegionsRun training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions to build GEO and SEO capability across global and local teamsWork closely with content, tech, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with global standardsHelp local markets adapt global strategies while maintaining consistency and quality4. Measure & InnovateMonitor global SEO and GEO performance using analytics tools to uncover opportunities and share learningsStay ahead of the curve on SEO and generative search innovation to keep the business competitiveWhat You’ll NeedProven experience building global SEO strategies across complex digital ecosystemsExperience working with BrightEdgeHands-on knowledge of generative search, AI search models, and their impact on content visibilityStrong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to lead across global and regional teamsExperience with SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Search Console) and analytics platformsAbility to translate strategy into action with clear frameworks and enablementPlease note - this is a hybrid opportunity with occasional travel to our clients London based office required.
