Key ResponsibilitiesWarehousing & Distribution OperationsDevelop and implement strategic warehousing and distribution plans to support global operations.Optimize warehouse layouts, automation, and processes for improved efficiency and cost reduction.Ensure effective inventory control measures to prevent stock discrepancies and obsolescence.Lead warehouse expansion and consolidation initiatives based on business growth and demand.Drive best practices in warehouse safety, compliance, and operational excellence.Logistics & Transportation ManagementOversee global transportation strategies, including freight optimization, carrier selection, and cost management.Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, optimizing shipping routes and reducing lead times.Develop and manage relationships with logistics service providers and freight forwarders.Implement and enhance tracking systems for improved visibility of shipments.Address logistics bottlenecks and drive process improvements. Procurement & Supplier CollaborationWork closely with the procurement team to align logistics and warehousing with sourcing strategies.Negotiate contracts with logistics and warehouse service providers to achieve cost savings and efficiency.Ensure supplier compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with vendors to improve inbound and outbound logistics performance.Strategic Supply Chain Management & OptimizationDevelop long-term supply chain strategies to support business growth and market expansion.Leverage technology and data analytics to drive supply chain efficiencies and cost reductions.Lead process automation and digitization initiatives in warehousing and logistics.Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.Leadership & Stakeholder EngagementLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing warehousing and logistics team.Collaborate with internal departments, including Finance, IT, and Sales, to align supply chain operations with business objectives.Provide strategic insights and regular reports to senior leadership on supply chain performance, cost savings, and operational challenges.Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and supplier reliability.Lead contract negotiations and pricing strategies to secure the best value for AVASO Technologies.Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier consolidation, volume discounts, and process improvements.Monitor procurement budgets and financial performance, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).10+ years of experience in supply chain management, warehousing, and logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of global procurement processes and supplier management.Expertise in warehouse automation, inventory control, and logistics optimization.Experience managing large-scale distribution networks and multi-country logistics operations.Proficiency in ERP systems, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), TMS (Transportation Management Systems), and supply chain analytics.Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.
