Product Manager - Permanent - London/HybridJob Description:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to join our asset management firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and executing research strategies, translating insights into actionable feature requirements, and overseeing the development lifecycle from inception to market activation.Key Responsibilities:Research Strategy: Define and implement comprehensive research strategies, including product research and focus groups, to gather valuable insights.Feature Requirements: Translate research insights into detailed feature requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.Scope Management: Understand project scope and make informed scope decisions to balance business objectives and technical feasibility.Agile Development: Create and manage epics, user stories, and oversee the development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.Activation & Go-to-Market: Develop and execute activation plans and go-to-market strategies to ensure successful product launches.Process Optimization: Analyse manual processes and translate them into efficient workflows for agents, leveraging technology to enhance productivity.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in asset management or financial services.Strong understanding of research methodologies and ability to translate insights into actionable requirements.Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience managing development lifecycles.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to make strategic scope decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.Experience in developing go-to-market strategies and product activation plans.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with product management tools (eg, JIRA, Confluence) and basic understanding of software development processes.Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams and drive project success.Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.Customer Focus: Strong customer focus with the ability to understand and anticipate client needs.Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
