Working closely with the Project Commercial Team, you’ll ensure robust financial oversight while helping to drive value and efficiency across the MAC portfolio.If you're commercially astute, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, this role offers the perfect platform to develop and make a real impact.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild accurate project costs for capital works between £100k–£3mMaintain strong profit margins through proactive cost controlNegotiate daily with suppliers to secure best valueCollaborate with project teams to meet commercial milestonesReport weekly on revenue, margin and cash targetsSupervise and support Assistant Quantity SurveyorsIdentify and mitigate commercial risks and maximise opportunitiesAbout YouA degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial ManagementSignificant post-qualification experience, ideally in building maintenance or corporate environmentsA proven track record managing construction contracts up to £10 millionExpertise in procurement, supplier negotiation, project planning, and contract proceduresStrong estimating and tender preparation skillsEnd-to-end project experience—from concept and full design to final approval/handover - with a keen eye on hitting key milestonesA sharp commercial focus, with a history of driving margin improvements in a MAC environmentExcellent presentation, communication, and reporting abilitiesProficiency in MS Office and MS ProjectAbility to read and measure from technical drawings using AutoCADMRICS qualified or actively working toward chartered statusThe CompanyISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
