Were currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join a friendly and supportive team in Portsmouth, with an immediate start available on a Part time or Full time basis. They are ideally looking for a permanent role, but would consider Locum for the right person. The Role:As the first point of contact for patients, youll play a key role in delivering excellent service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the practice. You will have the opportunity work in a well run organised team where you will also have the opportunity to progress and upskill if so desired.Key Responsibilities:Welcoming patients in person and over the phoneBooking, amending, and managing appointmentsProcessing prescriptions and managing patient queriesHandling patient records using clinical systems (EMIS or SystmOne experience desirable)Supporting the clinical team with general administrative duties What Were Looking For:Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar healthcare settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsConfident IT user, with strong attention to detailAbility to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of EMIS or SystmOne (preferred but not essential) Pay & Hours:Hourly rate: 12.2515.00 (dependent on experience)Working days: Locum/Part - TimeStart date: ImmediateThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming, patient-centred practice where your contribution will be truly valued.Ready to make the move?Contact Roberto Orlandi for more details or to apply! 0203 962 5634 roberto.o@healthiipeople.com
