Were seeking an experienced Personal Advisor to join a dynamic Leaving Care Team, providing tailored support to care leavers, including Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) and young people previously supported by the Child Welfare Department (CWD). Key Responsibilities:Fulfil statutory responsibilities to care leavers, including UASC and CWD cohortsBuild positive relationships with young people aged 18+, supporting their transition into adulthoodLead on Pathway Planning, ensuring young peoples goals, needs, and aspirations are metConduct regular visits (some out of borough) and maintain accurate recordsParticipate in duty rota and provide sickness cover when requiredLiaise with multi-agency partners to ensure holistic support for young people Requirements:Must be a car driver and live within a commutable distance of the officeFlexibility to travel across the UK and occasionally work outside standard hoursPrevious experience as a Personal Advisor is essentialStrong understanding of Leaving Care duties and the needs of the UASC cohortExcellent communication and organisational skills Whats in it for you?Competitive pay rateThe chance to make a real difference in young people's livesWork within a supportive and collaborative teamGain experience in a well-established local authority How to Apply:Email:Delanie.heyes@servicecare.org.ukPhone Number:01772 208964 Join a team thats passionate about empowering care leavers.
