This role will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, helping to align HR polices and processes with the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of employment law in the professional services environment, with the ability to influence, coach, and drive business outcomes through people initiatives. This role requires you to be based in Manchester, you ideally will need to have access to car and hold a drivers license as you will be visiting neighbouring offices. Provide strategic and operational support on the following areas: Partner closely with senior leaders to understand business objectives and support with the implementation of People strategies that support the business goals. Providing pragmatic advice and guidance to line managers and employees on employee relation matters, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievance and appeals processes. Manage end to end restructures and TUPE processes Support with onboarding of new acquisitions within the region to ensure all systems, processes and people activities are integrated. Use people data and metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and guide business and People decision-making To lead on supporting with long term absences/capability concerns Supporting the People Advisor with management of family leave processes for their regionOversee onboarding and offboarding processes for their client group, ensuring SLAs are met and the processes work efficiently. Work in partnership with the Senior People Business Partner to deliver on People Projects. Partner with Learning & Development to support training needs within your region. Support on reviewing and updating policies and procedures. Working with the wider team to support with cyclical activities including appraisals and salary reviews Provide support and guidance to the People Administrator and People Advisor.Ideally you will be CIPD Level 5 qualified
