A huge bulk of their turnover comes from repeat business and there sister business a leading UK main contractor This is a standard they strive to maintain by ensuring high standards are up kept across the board.If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.Role: Electrical Project Manager Cambridge/Suffolk 400-475 per day CIS onlyProject: 70m M&E new build government schemeRole/Responsibilities:Tender review/validationDesign Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants)Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plantTechnical submittalsRFIs Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractorsValue Engineering where applicableProgramming of works using MS Project or Asta projectHealth & Safety management (RAMs)Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey.Management of variationsTeam Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers and supervisors)Progress meetings with sub contractors, client and internal meetingsOverseeing commissioning stagesFormulation of OM Manuals and client handoverThe ideal candidate:Ideally have a HNC or HND and good technical knowledge of Electrical services.Experience working in the Commercial / Government sectors Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as Sir Robert McAlpine, ISg, Mace, Wates, etc.Have the right forward thinking attitudeIn return they offer:A healthy pipeline of work
