Buyer Castleford - 40,000A high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering exclusively with an innovative and growing manufacturer who are looking to hire a Buyer to join their team.Buyer Duties:Manage procurement of materials, including scheduling deliveries, handling indirect purchases and maintaining strong spend control within budgetsSupport the Supply Chain Manager with KPI preparation, data analysis, spend reviews and implementing improvement proposalsNegotiate with suppliers to secure best value, manage contracts and maintain accurate supplier records across business systemsMonitor supplier performance, risks (capacity, quality, financial), and resolve non-conformances or delivery issues, taking commercial action as neededOversee purchase order/invoice matching, call-off order management and maintain up-to-date Approved Supplier Lists and documentationResearch and source new products and suppliers to enhance supply optionsHours: 8am - 5pm (Monday Thursday) and 8am - 1pm (Friday)Benefits:22.5 days holiday + bank holidaysEarly finish every Friday!Internal training and developmentPension (5% employer / 3% employee)Death in service (4 x salary)Free onsite parkingRequired skills & experience:Strong Excel skillsetPrevious purchasing experience within a manufacturing environmentAbility to communicate effectively with both internal & external customers and suppliers
