Joining us on a full-time basis, you will receive a competitive salary of 29,091 per annum plus excellent benefits.About the role As the JetVac LGV Driver you will support the Sewage Pumping Stations Operational Teams in the day to day operation and maintenance of the Waste Water Pump Station assets within the area. You will also support effective planned maintenance (including proactive Sewage Pumping Stations cleansing programme using internal JetVac capability) to pump stations that supports effective operation of the sewerage network to satisfy customers expectations and protect the environment.What youll be doing: You will be supporting the SPS Operations teams in the first line maintenance of Sewage Pumping Stations (SPS) and associated assets to achieve the required performance and Company targets, i.e. Energy, Bathing Water Compliance, Pollution's, Odour contactsCompletion of proactive SPS cleansing interventions using internal JetVac capability to Minimise Pollution's from SPS to ensure a Pure Environment is maintainedResponsible for ensuring Health and Safety legal requirements are met and demonstrating a quantifiable improvement in Health and Safety culture, this includes regular review and feedback to facilitate updates to activity TSI, site risk assessments and related documentationEnsure all JetVac Operations are correctly and safely carried out and ensure safety of those around youAdherence to schedules, business rules and procedures and liaise effectively with the Field Support Centres (FSCs) and Maintenance team to ensure asset operations are achievedEnsure LGV JetVac unit is correctly maintained and in date for test on every occasion its deployed. Bring any issues to the attention of the Sewage Pumping Station ManagerHas a clear understanding of New Roads & Streetworks Act to ensure safe working on the highwayFollow company hygiene procedure / ensure the filling of JetVac units is in accordance with SWW procedures (with appropriate backflow prevention as required so as to comply with Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999) from designated filling points onlyIf required provide support to the WWS Planned Maintenance Team LGV HIAB Operation / wider operational business during Event / Incident scenarios (additional training will be provided as necessary)Compliance with Quality Management Systems and other Company proceduresEnsure that all activities enhance the reputation and image of the companyEnsure all work is carried out with due consideration of health and safetyWhat we are looking for: Minimum of 3 GCSEs grade A-C, including English, Mathematics & ScienceMinimum LGV Licence Cat C (HGV Class 2)Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and a current digital tachograph driver cardMinimum 3 years previous Tanker / JetVac experience with preferably experience in high pressure jettingGood communication skills both verbally and writtenHas worked creating / using Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of WorkKnowledge of Goods Vehicle Operator LicensingEffective team working and collaborating with others toward a common goalResilient with the ability to work under pressure in an Operational environmentFull UK Drivers Licence plus Cat C with Able to travel around the work area using company vehicleAbility to work flexibly, according to business requirementsWhat's in it for you;We know that the support and commitment of our staff is key to our success so you will receive the opportunity for ongoing development and training for a long-term career with us.
